Dinner in honour of YDP Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir

Date: Saturday, 14 November 2009
Time: 08:00 - 23:30
Location: Kristal Ballroom, PJ Hilton

Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Al Marhum Tuanku Munawir is the 11th Yang DiPertuan Besar of the state of Negeri Sembilan.

Tuanku Muhriz was an undergraduate in law at Aberystwyth University (then University College of Wales, Aberystwyth) from 1967-70.

We take the opportunity of organising a congratulatory dinner in honour of Tuanku Muhriz who has recently been installed as the 11th Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan. Our best wishes to both Tuanku Muhriz Munawir and Tuanku Aisyah Rohani a long and successful reign.

Seats will be limited to only 300 pax as we hope to have a quaint atmosphere with Tuanku being able to meet as many Aber graduates from the 1950s to recent times.

The dinner programme shall include multimedia show of Aber, the University, interviews of Malaysian graduates representing each decade from the 1950s onwards and activities of the the Alumni Club. There will also be a jazz band performance by 'BODY & SOUL'. A delegation from Aberystwyth University shall also be present, notably Head of Law department Prof John Williams and Head of Admissions for law, Mr David Poyton [007 Daniel Craig's double :)]. The Malaysian Fellows of Aberystwyth University shall also be well represented.

Should you require further information or clarificaiton, please speak with 'KO' (Puan Khamicah Othman) at +603-79824929. You are also welcome to contact any of the committee members. We would ofcourse be delighted to have graduates and family/friends of graduates as sponsors and contributors for the dinner.

As at Friday, 6 November 2009 we have approximately 200 pax confirmed and paid. Since we have to allocate seats for palace protocol officers, media and several other guests, we may only have 50 seats left. Kindly confirm soonest possible.
